Photography started for me as a kid staging dress-up sessions and recreating fashion shoots with my family as willing subjects. I was fascinated by styling, expression, and how a camera could change the way someone saw themselves.
That curiosity eventually turned into a career. I studied communications and journalism at Grace College, spent time working in a newsroom, won an Associated Press award, and in 2023 was inducted into Senior Style Guide’s Hall of Fame for senior photographers. Today, I photograph seniors, headshots, and brands—along with families and newborns—work rooted in storytelling, intention, and images that feel natural rather than forced.
I’ve also spent years on the other side of the camera as a commercial model, which gives me a deep understanding of how exposed it can feel to be photographed. Guiding people through that experience—especially when they’re unsure or uncomfortable—is a big part of my work.
Outside of photography, life is full. I’m married to my husband, Chris, and we’re raising our miracle twins.
At the core, this work has always been about helping people see themselves a little differently.
